Marc Newson's "Julia" necklace for Boucheron. Marc Newson, being the design ingenue that he is, based this design on fractals, mathematical formulae of structures. This particular one is based on a formula discovered by mathematician Gaston Julia.This one-off piece is made from 2000 pieces of sapphires and diamonds, and took the people at Boucheron 1500 man-hours to put together.
